Network Technical Project Manager

Job Title: Technical Project Manager (Network Engineering)

Location: London, UK
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Daily Rate: £500 (Inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of network infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance on network architecture and security.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Proven experience managing technical projects in complex environments.
• Strong operational knowledge of:
  • F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
  • Akamai CDN and security solutions
  • Fortinet Fortigate firewalls and FortiManager
  • Juniper SRX firewalls and Juniper switches
  • Cisco ISE for RADIUS and network access control
  • Cisco Nexus 7000 series switches
• Expertise in:
  • Access Control Lists (ACLs)
  • Network segmentation
  • Perimeter defense strategies
• Deep understanding of:
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
  • Routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
  • High availability and redundancy concepts
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including:
  • Packet capture analysis
  • Log analysis
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools such as:
  • SolarWinds
  • Wireshark
  • SNMP-based tools

Duration: 8 weeksRate: £500/day (Inside IR35)

Location: On-site in London (hybrid options may be considered)
