Job Description

Were looking for a versatile Solution Architect to join our growing team in London . This is a broad architectural role where youll help shape and deliver technology solutions across a range of industries and domainsfrom cloud-native platforms to large-scale system integrations.

We want someone who thrives in complex environments, who can move comfortably between business needs and technical constraints, and who can work collaboratively with engineers, analysts, and client stakeholders. Youll contribute throughout the lifecyclefrom early discovery and shaping through to delivery assurance.

In this role, youll be responsible for designing scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that address real client challenges. Youll support early-stage work such as technical discovery, architectural shaping, and pre-sales, and see it through to implementation by working closely with delivery teams.

What Youll Be Doing

When data concerns arisebe it modelling, integration, or complianceyoull help ensure theyre properly considered in the broader architecture. You dont need to be the foremost expert in every area, but its important to be comfortable speaking the language of both solution architects and data architects, and to feel confident engaging in meaningful discussions with either.

Just as importantly, youll mentor others, contribute to our internal architecture community, and help shape Endavas architectural thinking across projects and sectors.

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

Were after someone with significant experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, ideally across multiple domains and platforms. Youll need to be fluent in architectural principles and confident applying them in a range of contextswhether designing APIs, integration layers, distributed systems, or cloud-native services.

Youll often be the one leading when data is involveddefining the approach, shaping the architecture, and making sure it all joins up. Most architects are comfortable in a data conversation; fewer have the depth to own it end to end. Thats where you come in. You bring the credibility to wear the data architect hat when needed, without being defined by it. That ability to lead with depthand contribute across the boardis what makes you stand out.

Were looking for someone who communicates clearly, works well with others, and enjoys solving complex problems collaboratively. Experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS, Azure, or GCP), modern delivery environments, and pre-sales or bid shaping will stand you in good stead.
