Seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor in Sutton, United Kingdom

Introductory Paragraph:
Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Sutton, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cost management of mechanical and electrical engineering projects from pre-tender stage through to final accounts.

Responsibilities:

- Manage costs within budgets on all aspects of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering works.
- Undertake feasibility studies including preliminary design options
- Preparation of detailed estimates at various stages throughout project life cycle
- Contract administration duties such as issuing tender documentation evaluating tenders etc.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications or equivalent experience:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying / commercial management preferred but not essential depending upon level of work-related experience obtained

Skills Required:

In order to excel at this role you must possess some if not all these skills below;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with excellent inter-personal ability
- Good knowledge of contracts particularly NEC3/JCT/ICE forms would be beneficial

Salary Expectation:
This permanent position offers a highly competitive salary package up-to £75000 subject to relevant skillset plus additional benefits according to company policy.
