The Role:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver a broad and engaging curriculum to students in Years 711. You will play a key role in nurturing digital literacy, computational thinking, and creativity in the classroom. The role doesnot include sixth form teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach high-quality, differentiated lessons in Computer Science
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to support all learners
• Assess and monitor student progress to ensure strong outcomes
• Contribute to the development of the computing curriculum and resources
• Take part in departmental and whole-school initiatives and CPD

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or related subject
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A team player who is committed to the wider life of the school
