Senior Architectural CGI Artist

Architectural CGI Artist – Senior to Upper Senior

Please note: this is a fully office-based position. The successful candidate will be expected to work on site in the studio full time; hybrid working is not available for this role.

We are partnering with a highly regarded CGI and visualisation studio whose work is defined by precision, atmosphere and an uncompromising approach to image quality. They are looking for a Senior to Upper Senior 3D Architectuaral CGI Artist to join their studio team and produce outstanding photorealistic exterior imagery across ambitious property, place, destination and built environment projects. This is a hands-on, studio-based role for someone who thrives in a focused creative environment and takes real pride in the craft of high-end visualisation.

The studio works on significant UK and international commissions, delivering imagery for clients where visual quality, technical accuracy and a strong sense of place all matter. The work spans property, luxury real estate, destination-led schemes, hospitality, place and the wider built environment projects, with visuals used to communicate intent, setting, atmosphere, material qualities and the experience of each scheme at the highest level.

Because of the collaborative nature of the studio and the level of quality expected in the work, candidates must be able to attend the office full time. Applicants should already be within a realistic commuting distance or be prepared to relocate. UK-based applicants only will be considered, and a UK driving licence is required.

Role and responsibilities

  • Work as part of a highly capable, studio-based CGI team producing exterior visualisation work to an exceptional standard, with a clear focus on quality, precision and compelling visual communication.
  • Create visuals that help clients and their wider project teams understand and engage with proposals, clearly communicating intent, spatial qualities, context and the overall experience of the scheme across UK and international projects.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of producing top-quality CGI imagery for commercial property, luxury, hospitality, destination, place or wider built environment projects, ideally including international work.
  • Work closely with the internal studio team to develop imagery from early visual direction through to polished final presentation, ensuring each output meets the client’s expectations and the studio’s quality standards.
  • Use tools such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, alongside a current understanding of AI-assisted image-enhancement workflows where appropriate.
  • We are looking for strong communicators who are confident in their ability, self-motivated and committed to delivering the highest quality work at all times. The team values imagery that is rooted in design integrity, exacting measurements, geographic relevance and cultural accuracy, with compositions that sets the scene, tells a story and enables viewers to fully imagine and engage with a project.

This is a studio where the finished image is treated with real care. The right person will be comfortable working to exacting standards, following thoughtful creative direction and contributing to imagery that needs to perform at a very high level for discerning clients and their project teams.

Skills and experience

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional, commercial experience with all of the following:

  • 3ds Max
  • V-Ray
  • Photoshop, exceptional level
  • Current commercially used AI image enhancing solutions

Knowledge of the following could be beneficial:

  • After Effects
  • Premiere
  • AutoCAD or other CAD packages used within design and built environment workflows

The ideal candidate will come from a quality-obsessed visualisation, CGI, creative production or specialist studio environment and will be used to working on premium property, destination, hospitality, luxury, place or wider built environment projects. Experience producing early-stage visual narratives, planning imagery, final presentation work and marketing visuals would be particularly valuable.

The client is focused on senior to upper-senior artists with the consistency, judgement and visual quality required to deliver highly polished CGI work for demanding clients and high-profile built environment projects.

Location and working pattern

This role is firmly office based. The successful candidate will be expected to work on site with the team full time, contributing directly to studio discussions, project reviews and day-to-day delivery. It will suit someone who values being part of a close studio environment and who wants to be involved in producing high-quality work in person alongside a talented team.

This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role with standard working hours of 9:00–17:30. Hybrid working is not available. All applications are handled in the strictest confidence.

We are particularly keen to hear from senior, upper-senior and lead-level artists with relevant portfolios who are interested in joining a respected studio delivering demanding, high-calibre CGI and visualisation work for UK and international clients.

You will be expected to contribute as a rounded CGI artist, supporting projects from visual development through to polished final imagery for presentations, planning, marketing and client communication across a broad range of high-end visualisation work.
