Business Development Manager - Heat Pumps & CHP
An energy technology business is hiring a Business Development Manager for a field based position with a London base covering the UK. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys winning new business and building long term client relationships in the HVAC renewables construction or industrial equipment space. The focus is on selling engineered energy systems into commercial and industrial customers with longer sales cycles and higher value projects. You will manage opportunities from first contact through to close while working closely with a Head of Sales on larger bids and strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new B2B relationships with installation partners developers and industrial clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle including lead identification qualification technical discussions proposal preparation and closing.
- Support the Head of Sales with tenders and strategic projects including larger multi site opportunities.
- Present solutions at client meetings and industry events and represent the business professionally at all times.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date and provide clear pipeline forecasts and updates.
- Deliver against personal sales targets and contribute to wider commercial growth plans.
Preferred Ideal Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Strong experience in B2B technical sales within HVAC renewables construction industrial equipment or similar.
- Confident explaining and selling complex engineered systems to a mixed technical and commercial audience.
- Strong communication influencing and negotiation skills.
- Self motivated target focused and comfortable managing a structured sales pipeline.
- UK based and willing to travel to customer sites when required

The package includes a strong base salary plus deal linked bonuses and an annual performance bonus with a car allowance and solid benefits. You will have the autonomy to run your own territory while still having support on major bids plus the opportunity to build a strong network across installers developers and contractors
Business Development Manager
Salary :- Up to 60k +Bonus, Car Allowance, 25 Days Holiday, 8% Pension.
Location :- London - with Travel as required.
