Dynamics 365 F&O Support Consultant

With a strong focus on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and cloud-based transformation, they are continuing to grow their consulting practice in response to increasing client demand.

They are now seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Support Consultant to join their growing team, providing high-quality functional and technical support across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments.

This is a client-facing role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, troubleshooting complex ERP issues, and delivering excellent service in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The Opportunity:

This role sits within the Client Services function, supporting customers post-implementation across their D365 F&O landscape. You will act as a key escalation point for ERP-related issues, working closely with functional consultants, developers, and Microsoft support where required.

You will play an important role in ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement across client environments, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve issues across Dynamics 365 F&O modules, workflows, integrations, and customisations
• Investigate complex functional and system-related queries, providing clear, actionable resolutions
• Validate and test hotfixes, patches, and new feature releases
• Support environment management, updates, and release planning
• Work directly with Microsoft Support on platform-level issues where required
• Assist in identifying root causes and implementing preventative improvements

Collaboration & Communication

• Provide structured, professional communication to end users and business stakeholders
• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and project teams to resolve cross-functional issues
• Identify and communicate relevant functional or system changes to internal teams
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while remaining calm under pressure

About You:

• Experience working with ERP systems in a support, consulting, or functional role
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues independently
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
• Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous learning
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment
