R&D Technical Consultant

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Consultant to work within a prestigious R&D Tax Credits team in Belfast.

In this role, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of software engineering, the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical professionals and the ability to build strong relationships with a portfolio of clients to help them to secure R&D Tax credit funding.

If you have worked in roles that combine software skills with strong business acumen such as a Software Developer, Business Analyst, Product Manager or Technical Project Manager, this could be the role for you!

The Role

In this role, you will manage a range of client companies, helping to facilitate the smooth processing of R&D Tax claims from inception to submission.

• Manage portfolio of clients from inception to review of R&D claims
• Ensure smooth processing of claims from information collection through to submission
• Ensure R&D Reports are complete and to a high standard before submission
• Organise educational seminars with clients and present either in person or online
• Work with clients to improve their record keeping
• Interview clients and ensure all R&D criterion are being met

Required Experience

• 5+ Years working within a technical software environment that provides you with a demonstratable and deep understanding of software solutions
• Excellent report writing skills
• Comfortable in a client facing role with strong communication skills and rapport building
