Senior Project Manager

Enso Recruitment is delighted to be once again partnered with a leading innovative company in Belfast, as they add the key role of Senior Project Manager to their team. The Senior Project Manager will have experience delivering complex IT projects that meet business requirements and be a self-motivated and results oriented IT professional. As Senior PM, you will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of a portfolio of business-focused IT projects, including strategic business improvements and infrastructure refreshes. The Role Take senior-level responsibility for managing multiple projects within the PMO portfolio Support, resolve, and escalate issues within the PM team as needed Objectively review portfolio status reports to maintain transparency and ensure accurate reporting Keep the PMO Manager and stakeholders informed of any concerns Identify, resolve, and escalate portfolio risks and issues proactively Ensure portfolio alignment with business objectives and drive necessary project adjustments Respond adaptively to internal and external changes impacting the portfolio Predict potential risk areas and develop and execute mitigation/contingency strategies Lead across a diverse range of IT project and programme types Manage and report portfolio financials to management and key stakeholders Deliver projects and programmes using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies The Person Extensive experience in delivering IT programmes/projects at a senior level, including complex, high-budget initiatives Proven leadership of Project Manager teams, ensuring portfolio delivery within scope, time, and budget Strong drive and capability to develop strategies and oversee portfolio execution Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills; adept at resolving complex issues to meet timelines Certified in PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies (or equivalent) Strong stakeholder management experience PMP certification (or equivalent) Strong commercial awareness The Package Market leading salary Bonus 36 holidays Health Care Hybrid Working Holiday buying option Pension L&D Clear career progression To find out more, and to be considered for this opportunity, reach out to Enso Recruitment today!
