Role: Enterprise Architect - Public Sector/Council

Location: UK (Hybrid)

Package: £75k–£90k

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support a major transformation programme. This role will focus on reviewing current systems, defining a clear target architecture, and building a practical roadmap to get there.

Location: Hybrid (Reading/Leeds) with occasional travel to client sites when needed.

What you’ll be doing

• Assess the current application and systems landscape
• Identify gaps, duplication, and legacy challenges
• Define a target architecture aligned to business needs
• Create a phased, realistic roadmap for change
• Advise on key decisions (buy vs build, replace vs optimise)
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across tech and business teams
• Lead workshops and provide architectural oversight

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture
• Background working in complex environments / transformation programmes
• Good understanding of systems integration and data flows
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and guiding decisions
• Practical, delivery-focused mindset
