About Our Client

Our client is a specialist architecture consultancy, delivering high-impact architecture services across Financial Services. With a focus on driving measurable business value, they provide expert-led solutions that bridge strategy and execution. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Solution Architect Team Lead to help shape and scale their architecture services.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Solution Architect Team Lead to take ownership of large-scale architecture services, ensuring best practices, high-quality delivery, and continued growth across Financial Services. This role is pivotal in defining architecture approaches, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of driving architecture excellence while supporting the expansion of the consultancy’s services.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Solution Architect Team Lead:

• Leading and scaling large-scale solution architecture services across multiple enterprise clients.
• Defining and embedding architecture best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Acting as a trusted architecture advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Driving account growth through effective relationship management, understanding client needs, and identifying new opportunities.
• Supporting pre-sales, proposals, and business development, leveraging your technical and commercial insight.
• Mentoring and developing architecture teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring architecture governance and oversight across complex transformation and cloud programmes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in Financial Services.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end solution architecture initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
• Deep technical background across modern architecture principles, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and emerging technologies.
• Strong client and account management capability - able to build trust, influence at senior levels, and drive growth within key accounts.
• Background in consulting or professional services, balancing delivery excellence with commercial outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering business-aligned architectural solutions.
• Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery in fast-moving, client-facing environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics
• Relevant industry certifications (TOGAF, AWS, Azure, SAFe, etc.) are a plus.
