Data Scientist

Rate: £44.50 FSA Umbrella (this role is deemed inside IR35) or £32.50 PAYE

Duration: 12 months (likely extension)

Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Data Management:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Cleanse, validate, transform, and manage enterprise data.
• Support scheduled data loads and data quality checks.
• Assist with data governance and documentation.

Analytics & Business Support:

• Provide curated datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Support KPI development and analytical models.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues.

Applications, Automation & Integration:

• Develop dashboards and workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Support Salesforce CRM data integration.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities.

Requirements:

• Experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, or automation roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms
• Experience working with CRM data, preferably Salesforce.
• Understanding of data modelling, analytics, and data quality principles.
• Use of internal procurement/vendor management systems.
