ERP Procurement Specialist

ERP Procurement Specialist to join our team on a contract basis to support and advise our client's procurement functions to prepare for a major ERP implementation. This role is critical in ensuring procurement processes, data, and systems are aligned with the broader transformation goals, and ready for integration into the new ERP platform.

Typical Responsibilities will include:

• Conducting a comprehensive review of current procurement processes, policies, and systems
• Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in readiness for ERP integration
• Advising on procurement best practices and how they align with ERP capabilities
• Ensuring procurement requirements are captured in ERP design
• Supporting and advising on data cleansing, classification, and migration planning for procurement-related data (vendors, contracts, catalogues, etc.)
• Assisting in defining procurement workflows and approval hierarchies within the ERP system
• Developing documentation and recommendations to guide procurement through the ERP implementation life cycle
• Acting as a liaison between procurement and the ERP project team to ensure alignment and timely delivery of milestones

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in procurement transformation projects, ideally involving ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
• Strong understanding of procurement processes including sourcing, contract management, supplier onboarding, and purchasing
• Experience with data governance and master data management in a procurement context
• Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and vice versa
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
• Professional procurement certification (eg, CIPS, ISM) preferred
• ERP system training or certification is a plus

The role is hybrid and Belfast and Dublin based.
