Oracle Fusion Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading organisation within the financial and professional services sector, is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide finance and project management solutions. This is a permanent opportunity offering the chance to influence large-scale transformation and digital finance initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion architecture across core finance, projects, and shared service operations.
  • Partner with finance and technology leaders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, future-proof Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Design and implement comprehensive financial architectures covering General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Project Management, and Enterprise Performance Management.
  • Define strategic technology roadmaps that leverage automation, data analytics, and cloud innovation to enhance financial performance.
  • Develop robust business cases and ROI models demonstrating measurable efficiency and cost benefits.
  • Oversee all stages of the solution life cycle-from requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within Oracle Fusion and EPM platforms, ensuring best practice is maintained.
  • Ensure all solutions meet compliance, governance, and data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless system integration across the organisation.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 8 years' experience designing and delivering Oracle Fusion financial solutions within large, complex organisations.
  • Proven background in consulting, financial systems architecture, and digital transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing business cases, identifying value opportunities, and delivering quantifiable ROI.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials (including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management, and EPM).
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior management.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and SaaS implementation approaches.
  • Exposure to AI-driven automation, Oracle Digital Assistant, and intelligent process optimisation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of integration methodologies with third-party ERP or finance systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification or equivalent industry qualification is an advantage.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
