SAP Service Management Consultant
Key Responsibilities

Participate in design workshops to understand client industry context and business requirements

Gain familiarity with SAP accelerators and pre-configured industry solutions to support delivery where applicable

Configure and customise SAP Service Management functionality to meet client needs, including:

Asset management
-
Work order planning and scheduling
-
Resource allocation
-
Service execution
-

Lead the design and implementation of SAP Service Management in line with best practices and industry standards
-
Drive development and ongoing maintenance of the SAP Service Management solution architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements

Produce key delivery artefacts including design/configuration documentation, functional specifications, data migration documentation, test scripts, and training materials

Share knowledge and promote best practices within the SAP team and wider delivery teams

Support SAP practice development through internal initiatives, sales support, and client engagement activities
-
Implement and support SAP Field Service Management (FSM) to optimise field service operations
-
Use SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) to support efficient maintenance processes
Required Skills & Experience

Third level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)

7+ years' experience delivering SAP Service Management projects, with a proven track record across implementation and support

Experience implementing S/4HANA Service Management solutions (utilities industry exposure highly desirable)

Strong understanding of S/4HANA best practice processes, benefits, and implementation approaches

In-depth knowledge of SAP Service Management and SAP Plant Maintenance, including configuration, customisation, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems (eg, SD, MM)

Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate teams in a collaborative environment
-
Proven ability to engage with and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
