Management Accountant
Equifind is partnering with a high-growth, technology business to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to join a fast-paced, innovative organisation where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial growth, operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
Working within a lean and forward-thinking finance team, you will take ownership of core financial reporting and control activities while helping drive process improvement, automation and technology adoption across the function.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Lead the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations and management reporting
- Prepare accurate and insightful monthly financial reports for senior leadership
- Ensure strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity
- Manage relationships with external finance service providers and support continuous process improvement
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to understand new products, initiatives and revenue streams
- Assess the financial impact of strategic projects and business initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes
- Provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Contribute to cost optimisation and performance improvement initiatives
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate finance processes
- Support the implementation of new systems, integrations and reporting tools
- Drive efficiencies through the adoption of technology and data-led solutions
- Enhance reporting capability, dashboards and financial visibility across the business
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with circa 2 years post-qualified experience
- Strong grounding in financial control, reporting and month-end processes
- Previous experience within SaaS, technology or fast-growth environment advantageous
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
