Data Analyst - Ripon £35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits A global manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. This is a brand-new role, so would suit an experienced candidate that is adept at establishing data processes and working with different departments to consolidate data.As the go-to person for all things Data, you will be required to gather, process, and analyse data to allow the business to make data-driven decisions. Working cross-departmentally, you will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and meaningful interpretation of data to help operational efficiency and product quality.This Data Analyst role will be on-site in Ripon.Key responsibilities:
- Analyse and document current data processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
- Utilise data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation prospects.
- Collect and validate data from various sources.
- Communicate and present findings and reports.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and respond to data-related requests from different departments.
- 3+ years’ experience working in similar Analytics role
- Data Analysis
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excel, SQL
- Power BI, Tableau, Python - desirable
- Process mapping, gap analysis and business analysis experience is desirable.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications would be desirable
- Full drivers’ licence and own car is required
- 37.5 hours with 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
