Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager – Hybrid – £70-80k Manager, Mentoring, Node.js, Vue.js, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud-based Infrastructure, Technical Strategy, Project Delivery This exciting and established client is looking to add an Engineering Manager to their development team based in Penrith. You will have a track record of creating an environment of accountability through technical excellence, continuous improvement and delivery commitments with long-term technical strategy. You will be managing several squads by overseeing the quality and timeliness of performance delivery of software solutions from all team members.Core skills required:

• Excellent experience managing dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical background with modern programming languages Node.js, Express, TypeScript, Vue.js, PostgreSQL etc
• Strong experience mentoring and coaching software engineers at all levels
• Track record of delivery complex technology project, balancing technical debt, quality and speed
• Strong experience with agile, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure
• Familiarity scaling engineering teams and managing cross-team dependencies
• Familiarity with compliance, information security and regulatory standards relevant to the financial services industry
