Project Manager Preston - hybrid£45-50k + great benefitsAre you an experienced Project Manager who enjoys delivering complex projects and working as part of a motivated, collaborative team? We’re now looking for a Project Manager to join the Operations team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, to specification, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.What you’ll be doing
  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of client projects within a software delivery environment
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed specifications and quality standards
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing resources effectively to support successful delivery
  • Monitoring progress, managing risks and issues, and putting mitigation plans in place where needed
  • Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to drive delivery and resolve challenges
  • Maintaining clear, open communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Taking ownership of project outcomes and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in a Project Manager role, ideally within engineering, technology, environments
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and resources
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a long-lived, collaborative team
Nice to have (but not essential)
  • Experience working in the transport sector
  • Knowledge of formal project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, or similar)
  • Experience working with technical or software delivery teams
