Are you a Lead Software Developer with strong experience in Laravel and Vue, looking to play a key role in shaping the future of a purpose-driven, family-run organisation in the medical industry at the forefront of its sector?

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small, highly capable development team within a Tech for Good organisation that has recently brought development fully in-house. With solid foundations already in place, you'll have the freedom, flexibility, and influence to help accelerate the evolution of their platform.

The role offers a predominantly remote working arrangement, with only occasional visits to the North London office throughout the year. You'll take ownership of the technical direction, guiding the transition from legacy PHP systems to a modern, scalable architecture using Laravel, InertiaJS, and Vue 3.

This position is ideal for an experienced Lead Software Developer who is ready to move beyond maintaining legacy systems and wants to build something modern, meaningful, and impactful.

The Role:

• Lead and mentor a small team while remaining hands-on with full-stack development
• Maintain and support existing legacy PHP systems while overseeing the build of a new platform
• Define and drive the long-term technical strategy
• Working hours: 09:00-17:00, with occasional Saturday work and availability on exam days (08:00-18:00)

The Person:

• Extensive experience with PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js
• Proven experience leading senior developers
• Highly motivated and ambitious, with a mindset aligned to a growing, forward-thinking organisation
