ICT Specialist needed in Rhyl Paying £19.96 per hr ref OR115467

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  • Key Responsibilities

    Systems Development and Management

    • Lead the ongoing development, optimisation and administration of the ICONI CRM system and associated business applications.
    • Manage system enhancements, upgrades, testing and troubleshooting activities.
    • Support the implementation, integration and embedding of new digital platforms and technologies.
    • Ensure systems are configured and maintained to support operational requirements and service objectives.

    Digital Transformation and Innovation

    • Identify, evaluate and implement innovative digital solutions that enhance service delivery and customer outcomes.
    • Support digital transformation initiatives from initial scoping and procurement through to implementation and post-launch optimisation.
    • Contribute to future-proofing the service through the adoption of new technologies and digital best practices.
    • Research emerging technologies and assess their potential benefits to the organisation.

    Business Analysis and Project Delivery

    • Gather and analyse business requirements from operational teams and stakeholders.
    • Translate business needs into effective and sustainable technical solutions.
    • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning and business readiness activities.
    • Support business process improvement through system development and workflow optimisation.

    Reporting, Data and Performance Management

    • Develop and enhance management information, reporting solutions and performance dashboards.
    • Utilise Power BI and other reporting tools to provide insightful and actionable business intelligence.
    • Work closely with managers to ensure reporting solutions meet Welsh Government, UK Government and organisational reporting requirements.
    • Support data analysis and performance monitoring activities across the service.

    Stakeholder and Supplier Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact between Working Denbighshire, ICT Services, software suppliers and external partners.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with technical and operational stakeholders.
    • Coordinate supplier engagement to ensure systems are effectively supported and developed.
    • Deliver training, guidance and specialist support to staff and managers on digital systems and technologies.
