Platform Specialist needed in North London Paying  £25.38 per hr ref 013055

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• We’re seeking a skilled Platform Specialist to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.

  Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain production servers, cloud environments (Azure, Office 365), SaaS apps, networks, backups, and security systems.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to strategy, governance, and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead the Technical Support team, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Represent the team at CAB meetings, reviewing and approving infrastructure changes.
  • Oversee and influence budgets:
    • £4M operational contracts
    • £4M capital projects
    • £2M Microsoft cloud spend
    • £1.5M outsourced services
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
  • Optimize licensing and cloud costs.
