Director of FP&A

Eton Bridge Partners has been retained by a private equity-backed SaaS business based in Surrey to recruit for a Director of FP&A, who will be joining the organisation at an exciting stage of it's growth journey. Reporting to the CFO, you will own forecasting, planning and performance insight, partnering closely with senior leadership and the C-suite to drive scalable growth, while playing an instrumental role in preparing the business for a future exit. The ideal candidate would take a keen interest in utilising AI and technology to enable improved business insights and automation and drive smarter decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, developing robust driver-based financial models that link key SaaS metrics, revenue drivers and cost structures.
  • Build robust investment cases (NPV, IRR, ROI, payback) for new products, pricing changes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and long-term planning to identify risks, opportunities and support scalable growth.
  • Partner closely with the business including C-suite and departmental heads to deliver clear, data-driven insights that shape strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Play a key role in developing an increasingly AI-enabled finance function, leveraging tools to improve insight generation, automation and decision support.
  • Support strategic projects (including potential M&A and investment opportunities) as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Strong post-qualified experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience in a SaaS or recurring revenue businesses.
  • Experience operating in a high-growth and/or private equity-backed environment.

Location/Flexible Working

Our client's offices are located in Surrey, with the expectation of working on-site 3+ days per week.
