Remote - but with occasional client visits as required
circa £600 p/d (umbrella/inside IR35 due to client LTD ban)

IT Solutions Provider require a Consultant with Dell OpenManage Enterprise (OME) expertise. This is to help support a Global Financial Services client with the deployment, integration, and optimisation of Dell's OME platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in systems management, infrastructure automation, and Dell server ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and customise Dell OpenManage Enterprise (OME) for enterprise environments.

• Integrate OME with existing infrastructure and automation workflows.

• Optimise OME usage for asset inventory, firmware updates, monitoring, and alerting.

• Support life cycle management across Dell PowerEdge Servers and related hardware.

• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OME and related Dell management tools.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise with Dell OME, OpenManage Enterprise Modular, and iDRAC.

• Strong knowledge of Dell PowerEdge Servers and related infrastructure.

• Experience integrating OME with Ansible, SNMP, or Syslog tools a plus.

• Familiarity with server life cycle management, compliance, and firmware baselines.

• Ability to work independently and liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (Dell EMC, Server+, etc.) are advantageous.
