PostgresSQL DBA - SC Cleared

We are supporting our client in their search for an SC Cleared PostgresSQL DBA for a 3-month contract that should extend onwards. The role is fully remote.

  • Provide proactive, outcome-focused DBA services for cloud-managed PostgreSQL Operational Database.
  • Ensure platform availability of the AWS PostgreSQL Database and detect early signs of degradation before business impact.
  • Monitor schemas and transient tables for any need for cleanup.
  • Keep the operational database performant and avoid technical debt accumulation.
  • Keep stakeholders informed, raise any risks or issues to reduce operational impact in time.
  • Communicate data delays or performance issues to key stakeholders
