IT Support Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Contract: 6 months temp to perm
Working Pattern: Office-Based, 5 Days per Week
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Support Analyst to join their growing team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous IT support experience who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting end users, and working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As part of the IT team, you will act as a key point of contact for technical support, ensuring users receive prompt and effective assistance across a range of hardware, software, and business systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line IT support across a variety of technologies and devices
- Investigating and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Managing support tickets and ensuring timely resolution of user requests
- Setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access requests
- Supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and collaboration tools
- Escalating more complex issues to specialist teams where required
- Maintaining accurate support documentation and knowledge base articles
- Assisting with new starter setups and equipment deployment
- Contributing to process improvements and continuous service enhancement
About You
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or Service Desk position
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Knowledge of user account administration and access management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to remain calm and professional when managing multiple priorities
- Relevant IT certifications would be advantageous but are not essential
