Senior UX/Product Designer

Senior UX/Product Designer SaaS - Solihull, West Midlands hybrid - £60K-£70K + benefits

We have 2 new exciting roles as UX Designers for a growing SaaS company based in Solihull, who thrive in complex product environments and are confident leading multiple concurrent projects. You’ll play a critical role in shaping elegant, scalable application experiences that align with business objectives, user needs, and platform strategy. You are expected to fully own the design process, delivery, and visual excellence of your initiative. This role is suited for a systems thinker with fluency in AI-assisted design workflows

Main responsibilities

  • Lead discovery activities in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering — including user research, problem framing, and journey mapping
  • Lead end-to-end design across multiple features or product areas simultaneously, translating product and user goals into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI designs.
  • Operate within AI-assisted workflow loops to compress design cycle time — moving rapidly from requirements to prototype while maintaining quality and design judgment.
  • Think and operate at the systems level — connecting features to broader product patterns, identifying design debt, and contributing to a component and interaction framework that scales.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment through clear communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Apply and extend the design system to craft interfaces that are consistent, scalable, and visually compelling.
  • Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate based on data and insights.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years minimum designing web-based application UIs (SaaS/B2B ), with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
  • Experience leading discovery — user interviews, contextual research, journey mapping, and synthesis — and translating findings into clear design direction.
  • Demonstrated systems thinking — understanding information architecture, cross-feature relationships, and the downstream impact of design decisions on product consistency and scalability.
  • Mastery of Figma, including component creation, prototyping, and system-level design — with working knowledge of Figma Make or equivalent AI-powered prototyping capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools as an active part of the design process — including AI-assisted prototyping and LLM-driven workflows.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and disciplines
  • Commuting distance to Solihull or ability to relocate to the area
