My client is a global IT consultancy looking for a IOS Developer based in Edinburgh/Glasgow

\n

This role is part of a long term project offering a initial 3 month contract with potential to extend to 31/03/27

\n

1 day per week in Edinburgh/Glasgow

\n

£400pd inside ir35 via umbrella

\n

We're looking for a iOS Engineer who is passionate about building exceptional mobile applications with the customer at the centre of every decision. You'll thrive in a fast paced Agile environment, balancing rapid delivery with engineering excellence.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:
\n . Developing and maintaining features across our iOS applications
\n . Collaborating closely with cross functional teams to deliver high quality digital products
\n . Building intuitive, visually engaging, and user friendly mobile experiences
\n . Writing clean, scalable, maintainable, and well tested Swift code
\n . Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our Digital platforms
\n . Identifying opportunities to improve performance, usability, and development processes
\n . Contributing to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews
\n . Working collaboratively with Analysts, Testers, and Designers to deliver solutions that meet stakeholder and customer needs
\n . Supporting the delivery of Digital objectives through technical innovation and best practice engineering
\n Skills:
\n . Strong commercial experience with Swift
\n . Experience building apps using MVVM architecture
\n . Comfortable integrating with RESTful APIs without relying heavily on third party frameworks
\n . Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Storyboards, Nibs, Auto Layout, and Size Classes
\n . Familiarity with navigation patterns such as Coordinators
\n . Experience with CoreData or similar local persistence frameworks
\n . Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
\n . Understanding of the App Store release process, including provisioning profiles and certificates
\n . Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams
\n . Familiarity with reactive programming concepts (eg RxSwift/Combine)
\n . Strong debugging and problem solving skills
