Platform Engineer

My client is a global IT consultancy who are recruiting for a SC Clearable Platform Engineer to join a project implementing a bespoke IAM Service

The role is based in Leeds and will require 2 days per week in the office

This is a contract role with the current end date of 17/08/2026

Up to £500 per day inside IR35 (Via Umbrella)

. Role Description:
. Part of a team maintaining Critical National Infrastructure to a Platinum service level.
. Assist in the resolution of high-priority incidents.
. Work with the PO, BA and Technical Leads to elaborate, estimate and implement new feature enhancements per the product roadmap.
. Work with the broader PE/Dev team to reduce technical debt.
. Help drive improvements to DevOps processes.
. Key Skills and must have' experience: Demonstrated proficiency in Java development, ideally with some of the frameworks/tools in the client tech stack.
