Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition across the housing sector. This field-based role focuses on selling hardware, software, services, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business sales across EE’s full portfolio: hardware, software, services, and solutions.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and their execution.
- Lead tender responses, RFQs, and proposal submissions.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, reporting accurate forecasts weekly in Dynamics CRM.
- Develop and execute account plans and go-to-market strategies aligned with vendor technologies and public sector regulations.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to generate leads and build relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and commercial alignment with customer budgets.
- Provide professional account management and maintain strong customer relationships.

Essential Experience
- Proven track record of winning new contracts and exceeding sales targets.
- Minimum 5 years’ field sales experience.
- Proven experience in solution‐led selling of Digital Workspace solutions, Cyber Security services, and wired and wireless network infrastructure, including technologies from vendors such as HPE Aruba, Juniper Networks, Fortinet, Extreme Networks, and Cisco Systems. Demonstrable understanding of Managed Services and associated commercial models is required
- Hold relevant industry current sales certifications (e.g., HPE Aruba Sales Professional).
- Experience in managing tender processes.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans aligned with public sector procurement.
- Commercial acumen with experience tracking customer projects against orders and budgets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desirable Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Business, or Management.

Additional Information
- This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to customer sites and partner locations.
- Willingness and ability to travel to any customer location within the UK is a key requirement.
- Attendance at Oxford HQ required twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday).
Benefit Package
Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
Commission Scheme details will be discussed at interview
Holiday 25 days plus local bank holidays
Life Assurance 3 x basic salary
Pension 5% employee / 3% employer within the defined salary range
