GPU Compiler Engineer

We are partnered with a leading semicon and wireless company who are hiring talented engineers to help design and deliver high-performance, power-efficient GPU solutions for next-generation products.

This role requires 5 days per week onsite in Cambridge.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of GPU cores with a focus on performance and power efficiency
  • Develop functional models, software, and simulations to validate GPU features and ensure correctness
  • Create, run, and analyze graphics and compute tests to assess functionality, performance, and power behavior
  • Identify, debug, and resolve performance or functional issues across the GPU software and hardware interface
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders to guide implementation and align with product requirements
  • Develop and maintain driver and compiler software that supports GPU products
  • Produce clear technical documentation and feature descriptions to support internal teams and end users

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant GPU experience across architecture, software, or performance engineering
  • Strong understanding of GPU performance and power trade-offs
  • Experience working with GPU software stacks, including drivers, compilers, or functional models
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative engineering environments
