Product Solutions Engineer

A rapidly growing semiconductor company is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to join its expanding UK team. They are looking for individuals who bring not only strong technical capability, but also an exceptional mindset—someone motivated to go the extra mile to enhance their breakthrough products and support their high-performing team.

In this role you would serve as the technical bridge between customers and the company, supporting secure digital infrastructure solutions (semiconductors and software). This includes leading customer engagements, delivering demos and proof-of-concepts, providing technical guidance, and fostering strong long-term relationships.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of networking, secure communications, encryption, and IT infrastructure. Able to discuss architectures with both engineers and senior decision-makers.
  • Customer-Facing Background: Experience in pre-sales engineering, post-sales support, or solution consulting for complex hardware/software products.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret customer requirements, design appropriate technical solutions, and clearly articulate associated security advantages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrations & POCs: Hands-on experience building and delivering product demos, lab environments, or proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Comfortable collaborating with IT teams, senior executives, and technical architects in customer environments.
  • Security Clearance: Current or eligible for German Security Clearance (SÜG).

Desirable Experience & Skills

  • Understanding of UK government or regulated sector customers, including defence, telecoms, and critical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure environments, or secure data storage solutions.
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, AWS/Azure Security, CompTIA Security+).
  • Prior exposure to RFI/RFP processes and solution architecture documentation.
