Full Stack Software Engineer – Industrial Systems / Factory Operating Platform
We are currently partnered with a rapidly scaling deep tech company transforming industrial manufacturing through distributed, software-defined factories. With operations already live across the UK, they are expanding quickly and looking to grow their engineering team with a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build their proprietary factory operating system.
This role is full time on site
Key responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop core systems powering factory automation, real-time data processing, and user-facing applications
- Own full-stack development across infrastructure, backend services, frontend/UX, and real-time monitoring systems
- Work closely with leadership and on-site factory teams to identify operational bottlenecks and translate them into high-impact software solutions
- Rapidly deploy and iterate software directly within live production environments
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in full stack software engineering
- Strong coding ability across backend and frontend technologies, with a preference for strong UX/front-end experience
- Experience building and scaling complex systems in production environments
- Ability to operate independently with high ownership in fast-paced, ambiguous settings
