Head of IT Programme and ProjectsLiverpool / Hybrid working offered We are working with one of the most established, recognised and revered organisations in the region as they look to recruit a Head of IT Programme and Projects.Managing the design and delivery of projects large and small as part of a multi-million pound portfolio, this is an exciting time to join them as they embark on a new Digital Strategy.You will be responsible for the oversight and delivery of a wide range of IT programmes and projects from inception to completion, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. You must be able to evidence strong leadership skills in conjunction with confidence in developing and executing strategies for delivery.The role is a hybrid one, with a minimum of 2 days a week onsite and so you must live within an easy commute of central Liverpool.They have a true work / life balance culture and offer some exceptional benefits in addition to the salary which include c total 40 days leave per year and a pension of 21%. Key skills and experience:
  • You must have experience of working in a similar delivery management role in a complex, largescale environment, taking responsibility and accounting for large budgets
  • You will be able to evidence the delivery of a wide range of technology projects of varying sizes and scope
  • You will have proven skills in the leadership and management of a team
  • You will be confident in managing diverse stakeholders – both internal and external
  • You will be able to evidence a strategic approach
  • You will be educated to Degree level, or equivalent, or be qualified by extensive relevant experience
  • You will be PMP, APM or Prince 2 certified
  • It would be highly beneficial if you have held a similar senior role within the education or public sector
  • It would also be beneficial if you hold ITIL Foundation or ITIL Practitioner certification
