Digital Services Engineer

The Digital Services Engineer will support and enhance the technology systems that underpin a growing engineering business. Combining day-to-day IT support with cloud infrastructure, automation and digital development activities, this role offers a broad remit across both operational and technical projects.
 
The Digital Services Engineer will:

• Provide day-to-day IT support across hardware, software, user accounts and connectivity.
• Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding and user access permissions.
• Maintain hardware, software and IT asset records.
• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and development environments.
• Assist with software deployments, CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring.
• Work with external IT providers and technology suppliers when required.

 
The Digital Services Engineer will have:

• Experience in an IT Support, Digital Systems, Cloud Engineering or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware setup, software support and user administration.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
• Programming or scripting experience using Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Understanding of IT security, access management and data protection principles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
• A proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
