Senior Power Systems Engineer

The Role

You will take ownership of the design, integration, and validation of a core energy system used across a range of extremely high-performance equipment.

This is a practical, engineering-led role involving both lab-based development and field testing in demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated energy systems for deployment in harsh environments
• Act as a technical lead for power-related requirements across electrical, mechanical, and system interfaces
• Ensure stable power delivery across embedded systems, sensors, and control units
• Develop and implement thermal management strategies for battery performance in low temperatures
• Conduct testing and validation in both controlled and real-world settings
• Support safety, compliance, and certification processes in line with relevant industry standards
• Participate in field trials, including travel to remote or cold-weather locations

About You

• Background in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working within Aerospace, Military or Defence products.
• Strong exposure to battery systems, thermal control, and system integration
• Practical skills in prototyping, testing, and hardware development
