Senior Systems & Test Engineer
Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Systems & Test Engineer to define, build, and maintain processes for the integration and testing of cells, modules, and high-voltage batteries across multiple projects. This role spans concept development through to industrialisation and serial production, supporting hybrid and electric vehicle programmes.

                            The Senior Systems & Test Engineer will:
- Develop strategies and methodologies for testing cells, modules, and battery packs.
 - Define engineering approaches for various battery technologies and project requirements.
 - Lead fault-finding and standardisation of solutions for inline and end-of-line testing.
 - Specify, commission, and improve test rigs and diagnostic tools.
 - Use CAN-based software (e.g. CANalyser, CANape, CANoe, Tera Term) for diagnosis and problem-solving.
 - Prepare engineering documentation including PFMEAs, control plans, SOPs, and test reports.
 
The Senior Systems & Test Engineer will have:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Electronics, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering.
 - Proficiency in MATLAB and CAN-based diagnostic tools.
 - Knowledge of battery system architecture and battery management systems.
 - Experience in electrical component integration and development, particularly high-voltage systems.
 - Familiarity with compliance engineering to standards such as EMC, functional safety, ISO26262.
 - Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and build teams.
