Based in Wiltshire, the role of 3rd Line IT Technician reports to the IT manager and is further supported by a team of 3 technicians and administrative support. Key responsibilities will include the professional and timely delivery of IT services to a multi-site operation, working as a key lead within the wider support team. Providing full technical help desk support in person, by telephone, by teams and by email forms the key communication methods when receiving requests from the customer base, therefore you will have excellent levels of verbal and written communication.

Responsible for providing full maintenance services and troubleshooting support, ensuring that IT policy and procedures are maintained and reviewed regularly and in line with standard operating processes. Attending multi-site visits in Wiltshire, meeting and collaborating with key stakeholders and senior-level staff and completing IT-related projects whilst responding to software/hardware queries within designated timescales.

The role of 3rd Line IT Technician seeks a candidate who has advanced working knowledge of multiple VLANs, IP, Subnetting and routing. Your technical working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, Windows 10 and Office 2019 will be at an advanced level, supported by VMWare and ESX technical expertise.

As the position is based within the education sector, there is a requirement to undergo an enhanced DBS screening process including necessary compliance and reference checks.
