Location: Collingbourne Ducis

Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site

Salary: £25,000 £28,000

Hours: Monday Thursday 9 am 5:30 pm, Fridays 9 am 2 pm

Reporting to: Applications Manager

About the Company:

Our client, located in Wiltshire, specialises in designing and manufacturing replacements for End-of-Life (EOL) and obsolete electronic components for a diverse global clientele. To support their operations, they are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer who will be dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components through thorough testing and analysis. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in either the commercial, industrial, military or aerospace sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and procedures
• Perform electrical, functional, and physical testing
• Analyse and report results accurately
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in electronics/electrical engineering
• Experience with test equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, microscopes)
• Familiarity with AS6171/AS6081 standards
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• LabVIEW experience preferred, but similar packages considered

Equipment You'll Use:

Note: If not already trained on/using the following equipment, candidate must be willing to undergo training to use the following equipment.

• Curve Tracer, X-ray machines (2D & 3D), FTIR, Ramen Spectroscopy
• XRF, Acoustic Coupling, Acid Bath, Mechanical Decapsulation
