We’re supporting a well‐established financial services organisation in Edinburgh looking for a Markit EDM Production Support Analyst to join a small, close‐knit data team.

This role is firmly production support–focused. You’ll be responsible for keeping the Markit EDM platform running smoothly, acting as a key point of contact between technology and the business, and ensuring issues are identified, communicated, and resolved quickly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring daily Markit EDM batch runs and checking for errors or failures
• Investigating breaks, performing root cause analysis, and driving resolution
• Triaging support calls and incidents, prioritising appropriately
• Communicating clearly with investment and business users around issues and fixes
• Working closely with internal tech teams and vendors where required
• Maintaining clear operational documentation and handovers

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in Markit EDM production support (or very closely related EDM environments)
• Comfortable operating in a BAU / run-the-platform role
• Solid SQL query skills for investigation and analysis
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills – calm, clear, and dependable
• Someone who enjoys being the go‐to person when things need fixing

Desirable (but not essential):

• Oracle Forms
• XPF
• Snowflake
• .NET
• Background in EDM development (will be considered if keen to move into production support)
