ServiceNow Designer contractor - Telecoms Domain - London (hybrid) - Outside IR35 (immediate start opportunity) - 6 months
Evolve IT Recruitment is looking for 2 experienced ServiceNow Designers to work on a major telecoms programme on an initial 6-month contract. The role is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for the design, development, enhancement and administration of ServiceNow solutions across a large-scale enterprise environment - you'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver platform improvements, integrations and new module implementations whilst following ServiceNow best practice.
You will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Implementing ServiceNow Modules, administration, improvement and support of latest ServiceNow platform.
- Deliver all aspects of Platform Administration, Design, Development and implementation of ServiceNow.
- Complete minor and major enhancements requests to ServiceNow instances, including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation data, and existing workflows.
- Help facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules
- Identify areas for improvement
- Perform upgrade administration to ensure leverage of latest releases.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive experience and deep functional knowledge of ServiceNow
- Experience of glide objects (GlideRecords, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate, GlideAjax)
- System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP
- ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices (ITIL v3 certification a plus)
- Understanding of Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience a plus)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in creation or modification of the relevant CSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, IRM, toolset components
- Telecoms industry experience
- Consultative and analytical approach
- Experience implementing ITSM tools; such as Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management
