Team Lead - Autism & ADHD Assessments
Job summary
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Digital Team Lead to join our expanding service. This is a fully remote position working alongside an existing Digital Team Lead and reporting to the Team Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise with leadership, helping shape the delivery of high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for adults and children and young people across the UK.
This role is ideal for an clinician who is experienced in delivering ADHD and autism assessments and enjoys supporting others to thrive. You will play a key role in maintaining clinical quality, supporting service delivery, developing colleagues, and helping ensure families receive an outstanding experience throughout their assessment journey.
Main duties of the job
The Digital Team Lead will support the day-to-day operation of our remote team, ensuring the smooth delivery of autism and ADHD assessments for adults and children and young people across our right to choose and private pathways. Working closely with the Team Manager and another Digital Team Lead, you will provide leadership, guidance and operational support to a multidisciplinary clinical team.
You will support clinicians with complex cases, contribute to quality assurance processes, help identify training and development needs. The role also involves coordinating clinical resources, helping resolve operational challenges, supporting recruitment activities, and contributing to ongoing service improvement initiatives.
Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will continue to undertake diagnostic assessments where needed, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained. This is a varied role that combines clinical work, team development, quality improvement and service leadership within a fast-growing neurodevelopmental assessment service.

The role
At Evolve Psychology Services, we equip our clinicians with cutting-edge tools and support to help them focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to children, young people and their families.
Youll join a passionate and supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people. Our service specialises in high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through both NHS-funded referrals and private pathways. As a Team Lead, you will work closely alongside the Team Manager to support the wider team in delivering comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments, helping ensure timely, accurate diagnoses that lead to appropriate support and improved outcomes for families.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting day-to-day running of the clinic
Liaising with the Bookings team to communicate and coordinate specific client requirements in preparation for assessments
Problem-solving logistical issues associated with the running of busy clinics, (e.g. clinician absence, etc)
Supporting clients and families through the appeals process and managing complaints alongside the Team Manager
Offering clinical support during onboarding of new clinical staff and supporting the team with ongoing skills development
Working with the Team Manager to identify and resolve gaps in clinical processes
Monitoring resource needs and contributing to the development of new resources that will support and enhance the clinic
Escalating issues and working with the Team Manager to resolution
Offering support in MDTs for complex cases
Identifying training needs withing the team
Offer line management to a small group of clinicians/Assistant Psychologists/ Clinical Support Workers
Conducting Quality Assurance checks on clinical diagnostic reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to professional standards.
Delivering high-quality diagnostic assessments alongside team leadership and support responsibilities .
Work collaboratively with HR and the Team Manager to plan, coordinate, and participate in the interview process for clinical roles .

Qualifications and experience
Minimum of 3 years' professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England. Such as:
HCPC Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist
NMC Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, Childrens Nurse
GMC Medical Practitioners
Social Work England Social Worker
Minimum of 2 years experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people
Experience in delivering clinical supervision
Experience supporting service delivery and workflow management
Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD
Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc
Effective time management and organisation skills to support the wider team, alongside managing personal caseload demands
Ability to work collaboratively within teams across the business
Well-developed communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders
Must be eligible to work in the UK
