Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant - Finance & P2P - 6-month contract - Outside IR35 - Remote
Evolve ERP is looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant to join our client and play a key role in supporting, enhancing and evolving our Oracle Fusion Finance and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform.
This is a broad and varied role combining production support, functional change, project delivery and business process improvement. You will work across the full Oracle delivery life cycle, from incident and problem management through to requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and business adoption.
About the Role
This is not a traditional support role, nor is it a pure implementation position.
You will operate within a live, business-critical Oracle environment, ensuring operational stability while also taking an active role in delivering change and shaping the future of the platform.
Working closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, system integrators and third-party partners, you will help identify opportunities to improve processes, introduce new capabilities and maximise the value the client gets from Oracle Fusion.
Your responsibilities will span:
- Production support and operational stability.
- Functional change delivery and continuous improvement.
- Enhancement and project implementation activities.
- Business process optimisation and automation.
- Oracle roadmap initiatives and future capability development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional expertise across Oracle Financials and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Support live business operations and respond to critical incidents.
- Lead the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of complex business and system issues.
- Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
- Design and implement effective Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Deliver functional configuration changes, enhancements and improvements.
- Support project and programme delivery initiatives.
- Contribute to SIT, UAT and production release activities.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, system integrators and third-party suppliers.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
- Promote and support the adoption of Oracle best practice across Finance and Procurement.
- Contribute to the Oracle roadmap and wider transformation initiatives.
- Help ensure that new solutions are successfully adopted by the business and deliver the intended value.
About You
We are looking for a confident and hands-on Oracle professional who can operate effectively across both BAU support and business change.
You will be comfortable working with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translating requirements into practical Oracle solutions and taking ownership through design, configuration, testing and implementation.
You will also be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities to make the business more efficient through technology.
