Automation Engineer

Ready to help shape the future of automation at Evri?

Our automation and low-code solutions play a crucial role in keeping Evri's technology running efficiently and reliably. As part of our Automation team, you'll help design, build and maintain the systems that support our fast-moving logistics operation – ensuring they are secure, stable and performing at their best.

If you enjoy problem-solving, love creating smart automated solutions and want to work closely with teams across the business, this could be the perfect next step for you.

Join us as an Automation Support Engineer and help deliver innovative, efficient and high-quality automation that keeps Evri moving.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop and deploy new automation and low-code solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow and (ideally) UiPath.
  • Maintain and support existing automations, resolving incidents and problems within agreed SLAs.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Test, debug and optimise automation systems to ensure smooth operation and successful deployment.
  • Perform routine system health checks and maintenance activities across Power Platform, ServiceNow and related integrations.
  • Identify new automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging automation technologies.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and provide user training when required.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, highly organised and passionate about delivering high-quality automation solutions.

  • Recent hands-on experience in automation engineering or low-code development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow workflows or UiPath.
  • Experience integrating automations with external data sources such as SQL or SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for workflow and process integration.
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts, system testing and debugging.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users.
  • Logical thinker with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in logistics or a fast-paced operational environment is a bonus, but not essential.

At Evri, you'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team that's passionate about continuous improvement and innovation. You'll be part of an environment where your ideas are valued, your growth is supported and your work makes a real impact on the technology that powers our business.

We are Evri. Where everyone is welcome.
We're excited for the future. Let's shape it together.
