- £500 per day We are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to take technical ownership of security, architecture, and shared services across a complex hybrid cloud estate. This a 3-6 month contract, outside IR35, you must be able to work in the Manchester office 2 days per week. Key responsibilities Own and continuously improve cloud security posture across Azure (primary), with exposure to AWS and GCP. Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations across cloud infrastructure, networking, and IAM. Provide senior-level input into low- and high-level cloud solution designs. Build and maintain shared Azure landing zones and core infrastructure. Review penetration test and vulnerability assessment outputs and drive remediation. Support cloud governance, access control, policy enforcement, and cost optimisation. Technical experience required Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (core services, networking, Entra ID). Proven background in cloud architecture or cloud engineering (5 years). Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and policy-based governance. Experience with CSPM tools and enterprise-scale cloud environments. xkybehq Exposure to automation and IaC (Terraform, PowerShell, Python) desirable.
