- West Yorkshire (Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and inspire a team of software engineers, driving the delivery of secure, scalable and high-performing trading websites. In this role, you will: Build, lead and motivate a high-performing development team, providing mentoring and professional development opportunities. Oversee the delivery of new features, enhancements and bug fixes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. Define and maintain the technical vision and roadmap for our e-commerce platforms, working closely with architects, UX, QA, and business stakeholders. Champion software engineering best practice, Agile delivery, and secure development standards. Ensure system availability, performance, resilience and compliance with UK regulations including GDPR and PCI-DSS. About You: 10 years in software development, including at least 3 years in an e-commerce software development management role. Proven experience delivering secure, high-traffic retail websites in a UK online multi-category retail environment. Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, APIs, custom development and SaaS integrations. Skilled in Agile and sequential delivery models, with experience of delivering complex digital projects in legacy environments. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable: Experience with digital marketing, merchandising and content management tools. Knowledge of payment service provider integrations, cross-platform mobile tools and DevOps practices. Experience working with offshore delivery teams.
