Exalto Consulting is supporting an established organisation with the appointment of a Procurement Data Steward.
This role will take responsibility for the quality, consistency and governance of procurement data across the business. You will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible and trusted.

This role will take responsibility for the quality, consistency and governance of procurement data across the business. You will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations and IT teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible and trusted.
The role You will:
- Own and maintain procurement data standards, definitions and governance processes
- Monitor data quality and resolve issues affecting procurement and supplier information
- Develop data quality controls, measures and reporting
- Support the management of procurement master data
- Translate data requirements into practical processes and guidance for business users
- Work with technical teams to support reporting, dashboards and data models
- Lead improvements that reduce manual work, rework and data cleansing
- Identify opportunities to use automation and AI to improve data accuracy and standardisation
- Support data migration activity and help protect data integrity during system changes
- Experience in a Data Steward, Data Governance or Master Data role
- A good understanding of data governance frameworks and master data principles
- Experience working with business teams, IT functions and third-party suppliers
- Confidence investigating data quality issues and implementing practical improvements
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Clear communication and documentation skills
- The ability to manage several priorities and work with limited supervision
