Technical Solutions Architect - C#.Net - Azure - Outside IR35 - Hybrid 2 days a week on site in Cheshire.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Architect for an initial four month contract. The role is focused on strategic review and improvement rather than full scale redevelopment. You will assess our clients existing in house software systems and architecture to identify performance bottlenecks, scalability limitations, and areas of operational risk.

You will then produce clear documentation outlining identified issues and provide structured and pragmatic remediation plans that consider existing technology investment and delivery constraints.

This role is critical in shaping the technical roadmap and ensuring systems remain resilient, performant, and aligned with best practice.

Key Skills and Experience: Experience: Minimum 7 years in a Solutions Architect or senior technical design role working with cloud based and distributed application systems. 

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of .net and C# application development and architecture.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL, Application Services, Function Apps, Azure Service Bus, and virtual machine based workloads.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving performance and scalability issues across distributed systems.
• Ability to analyse application behaviour, diagnose hotspots, and translate findings into prioritised improvement actions.
• Familiarity with architectural documentation standards and diagramming methods.
