Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) – ERP Software Sales
Location: UK Hybrid/Remote (UK & Ireland territory)
The Opportunity
A specialist ERP software provider serving the wholesale, distribution and merchant sectors is scaling its new business function and needs a BDR who can hit the ground running. This is a business actively winning share from larger competitors, and the pipeline needs someone who can keep pace with that momentum.
The Impact You Will Have
- Own outbound prospecting across a defined UK & Ireland postcode territory, targeting merchant and distribution businesses ready for transformation
- Convert market campaigns into qualified conversations through consultative, high level calls, not scripted call centre activity
- Build direct relationships with IT managers and decision makers, understanding real operational pain before positioning the solution
- Generate sales qualified leads and book discovery calls that convert into genuine pipeline, not just activity
- Act as an early market signal, feeding competitor and industry intelligence back into the wider commercial strategy
What Success Looks Like
- 2 to 3 years of proven BDR experience, ideally in software sales, with a track record that stands out on paper and in conversation
- Comfortable navigating longer, consultative sales cycles rather than transactional, fast close activity
- Confident making 40 to 50 outbound calls a day without losing quality or curiosity
- Organised, resilient and self directed, someone who treats a quiet week as a challenge, not an excuse
- Genuinely energised by outbound work
