Our approach is personal with both clients and employees, and we are passionate about training, technology and career development, offering access to a wide range of learning resources and communities of practice.

Role overview
You will sit within the client's PMO Onboarding team, helping to run the processes and systems used to onboard, manage and offboard resources into the Digital Prevention Services Portfolio. Day to day, you will operate onboarding and offboarding tools, administer central data repositories and trackers, and ensure records are accurate, consistent and up to date to support portfolio reporting and governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn, use and continually improve the PMO's onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring resources are set up, changed and exited accurately and on time.

  • Administer and maintain central data repositories, logs and trackers, ensuring data quality, completeness and auditability.

  • Actively participate in team calls, stand-ups and wider PMO meetings, providing clear updates and escalating issues or risks promptly.

  • Build strong working relationships with project teams and stakeholders, acting as a friendly first point of contact for onboarding-related queries.

  • Support continuous-improvement activity, capturing ideas, mapping processes and helping to implement and embed new ways of working.

  • Contribute to wider PMO services as required, including meeting organisation, action tracking, basic reporting and maintaining registers and documentation.

Essential skills and experience

  • Recent graduate (BSc/MSc or equivalent) in any discipline; strong candidates may come from business, management, STEM, social sciences or related fields.

  • Practical experience from university projects, internships or placements involving planning, coordination, administration or project support.

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational and numerical skills, comfortable managing multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to produce concise reports, support meetings and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with standard office tools (Microsoft Office) and the ability to quickly learn new PMO or project-management tools (for example Jira, Confluence, Trello or MS Project).

  • Proactive, curious and process-oriented, with an interest in how programmes are delivered and how processes can be improved.

  • Comfortable working openly and collaboratively in mixed teams (clients, suppliers and contractors) and willing to adopt Agile ways of working.

  • Personal qualities: hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable, a quick learner, good listener, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
